How To Report an X Evidence

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of submitting an X (Twitter) post as evidence on XRZJ.

Prerequisites

  • You must have an XRZJ account and be logged in
  • You need the URL of a specific X post you want to preserve as evidence

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Your Activity Center

  1. After logging into your XRZJ account, click on Activity in the user navigation menu (usually located in the top right corner of the page)
  2. You will be redirected to your Activity dashboard

Step 2: Access the Publish Page

  1. In the Activity section, look for the left sidebar navigation
  2. Click on Publish in the sidebar menu
  3. You will see the "Publish X Post" page with a form to submit evidence

Step 3: Get the X Post URL

Important: You must navigate to the specific post's detail page on X (Twitter) to get the correct URL.

  1. Open X (Twitter) in your browser: https://x.com or https://twitter.com
  2. Find the post you want to preserve as evidence
  3. Click on the post to open it in its detail view (this is crucial - do not copy the URL from the timeline)
  4. Once you're on the post's detail page, copy the URL from your browser's address bar

URL Format:
The URL should follow one of these formats:

  • https://twitter.com/username/status/1234567890

Example:

https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1234567890123456789

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • Make sure you're on the post's detail page (click the post timestamp to open it)
  • The URL must include /status/ followed by a numeric ID
  • Do not use URLs from the timeline or embedded posts - they may not work correctly

Step 4: Fill in the Form

Back on the XRZJ Publish page, fill in the following fields:

4.1 X/Twitter URL

  1. Paste the X post URL you copied in Step 3 into the X/Twitter URL field
  2. The URL should match the format: https://x.com/username/status/1234567890 or https://twitter.com/username/status/1234567890

4.2 Publisher Comment

  1. In the Publisher Comment field, write your evaluation or comment about this X post
  2. This comment will be displayed publicly when the evidence is shared
  3. Explain why this post is significant or what evidence it provides
  4. This field is required

4.3 Category

  1. Click on the Category dropdown menu
  2. Select an appropriate category for this evidence
  3. Categories help organize and classify evidence records
  4. This field is required

4.4 Visibility

  1. Choose the visibility setting for your evidence:
    • Public: The evidence will be visible to all visitors on the public X feed (/x)
    • Private: The evidence will only be visible to you until you change the setting later
  2. You can change this setting at any time after submission

Step 5: Submit the Evidence

  1. Review all the information you've entered to ensure it's correct
  2. Click the Fetch & Save button
  3. The system will:
    • Validate the URL format
    • Fetch the post content, metadata, and X account information
    • Automatically capture a screenshot (when possible)
    • Store all information as an evidence record
  4. You will see a success message when the submission is complete

Step 6: Verify Your Submission

  1. After successful submission, you can view your evidence record in the Activity section
  2. Click on X Posts in the left sidebar to see all your submitted evidence
  3. Click on any record to view its details, including:
    • The original post content
    • Screenshot (if available)
    • X account information
    • Your publisher comment
    • Statistics (likes, retweets, replies, views)
    • Timestamp information

Tips for Best Results

  • Always use the post detail page URL: Click on the post timestamp to ensure you're on the correct page before copying the URL
  • Write clear comments: Your publisher comment helps explain the significance of the evidence
  • Choose appropriate categories: Proper categorization makes it easier to find and organize evidence later
  • Use Public visibility wisely: Public evidence can be found by anyone searching the platform
  • Verify after submission: Check that all information was captured correctly, especially the screenshot

Troubleshooting

Invalid URL Format Error

  • Make sure you copied the URL from the post's detail page (not the timeline)
  • Verify the URL includes /status/ followed by numbers
  • Check that you're using x.com or twitter.com domain

Category Not Available

  • If no categories are available, contact an administrator to create categories
  • Categories must be set up before you can submit evidence

Post Not Found

  • Verify the post is publicly accessible (not a private or protected account)
  • Ensure the URL is correct and the post hasn't been deleted
